The Five Q's with Nora!
We ask our newest Production Tech, Nora Murphy, the infamous 5 Questions.
The Media Factory welcomes two new Production Technicians to our team this month: Nora Murphy and Patient Mwibeleca. We asked them some questions to learn a little more about them. Here are Nora's answers, and we share Patient's answers here.
If there was a movie about your life, who would play you?
Ideally, I would play myself! If I had to cast someone though, it would be Katherine Langford.
What is your favorite piece of Media Factory technology, and why?
This isn't a singular piece of technology, but I think the Media Factory's studio is really fantastic! There is so much potential in that space - it can become anything you want it to be!
What is the funniest thing that has happened to you recently?
Funny things don't happen TO me very often... I watched several performances at the Festival of Fools this past weekend and the performers were hilarious and extremely talented! Shout out to BCA for putting on the festival every year!
Tell us something we might not know (a fact or piece of trivia that you know for no apparent reason).
The sports bra was invented in the theater department's costume shop at UVM in the 1970s.
If you had to put your life bio into one run-on sentence, what would you say?
Nora had big dreams of being a ballet dancer in NYC and she devoted her life to dance, but like so many young dancers, she eventually decided it was not the lifestyle for her, and so she transitioned to studying theatre at UVM where she discovered a love for film and travel, and now that she has finished school she wants to pursue acting, filmmaking, and traveling the world and she is so excited to do all of those things!
