Capturing Democracy: Town Meeting Day in Vermont

Stay informed with our recordings of your town meetings

Town Meeting Day is March 4, 2025. Historically, on this day residents and neighbors would gather in their town hall to discuss and vote on the big decisions impacting their town or city. It's a tradition that exemplifies small town governance in our brave little state.

Nowadays, most towns hold information meetings or candidate sessions in advance of Town Meeting Day, reserving the day for voting individually. And so Media Factory, and our community media partners across the state, record the meetings leading up to Town Meeting Day so you can be an informed voter.
